Octoberfest Dinner 2007

THANK YOU!!!  It was FANTASTIC

We really want to thank all the people who helped in any way, shape or form to make this event happen this year.  It was GREAT.

MANY THANKS TO THE COOKS -
Mark Hammett (husband of Christy) and Bob April (husband of Betsy) both wives are granddaughters of Mr. Carl Plitt.  This was their fourth Octoberfest here in Neeld Estate.  These two guys cooked all day Saturday after shopping for all the food this past week and bringing it down to Hilltop House.

Pork Butt was cooked and donated by Kirby Gean
Table set up by Janet and Kirby Gean
DESSERTS - the Neeld Estate bakers filled the dessert table - yummy
Bartender was Lynn Plitt (husband Michael, also grandson of Mr. Carl Plitt) who also donated the beautiful centerpieces, they were lovely.  Everyone loved them and promptly took them back to their homes.  Lynn also made the salads and other 'odd' jobs Saturday.

The 50/50 winner was Jeff Atkins who rented Roaches house.
The Raffle Basket winner was Joan Hammett Giavasis (Mark Hammett's sister).  Raffle Basket was donated by Janet Gean.

Thank you to all the many people who helped stay and clean up.

And another Thank You for all the many new faces and old faces who attended
THE FOOD was DELICIOUS.  All the leftovers were delivered to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bowie, Maryland.

Thank you to all that made this satisfying event happen and to all those that supported this event - YEAH Neeld Estate
